Standard Vaporizers

Old Reliable Stand by

My wife has MS, this was her first vaporizor, she's been using this thing now for about 5 years. The only issue we've had is breaking the mouthpiece or whip. It's the low-tech version, a dial used to guess the temp, takes a while to heat up, but all in all, it does what it's supposed to. My wife runs it pretty hot, and seems to be very effective. It will get hot enough, eventually, to light the product in the bowl. Parts are easily purchased from your neighborhood smoke shop. Since there is only one part to deal with, the whip has the bowl, it's easy for my wife to use herself.

My wife actually preferes the output of this unit to the Extream Vaporizor.

Portable Vaporizers

Great portablity, minimal smell, difficult to clean

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful
My wife has MS and used this for about 2 years. It works well for what it does, and is definatly worth the price. She's stopped using it, mostly due to the amount of herb she needs. It would take 2 to 3 bowls in the mini-vape to get the medicine she needs.

Pro's: Works great, portable, discrete

Con's: The tab on the battery pack plug broke off early on, so you have to hold the connector in the base of the unit.
It's not super solid, so take great care.
Be VERY careful cleaning the unit, it's very easy to destroy the circular screen.
Small bowl.

All in all, except for extream cases like my wife, I would reccomend this product.

Forced Air Vaporizers

Great product, very versital, difficult for people with handicaps

1 of 2 people found the following review helpful
Love the product, works great and much more versatile than the Volcano with the various ways you can us it, including the potpourri option, but a few difficulties for people with disabilities.

Pro's: Versatile - bag, forced air, standard vaporizer, potpourri
Quick - Fills a bag quickly, three blower settings
Consistent
Heats quickly

Con’s: Bag system is hard to put together. My wife, with MS, cannot in any way put a bag on the bag tube. I think the Volcano’s bag system is much easier to use, but It’s twice the cost.
The process of putting the bag tube on the elbow, again, very difficult for my wife. If I’m not there, she uses a small box vaporizer or a water pipe. She can’t use this without help.
Small LED. Again, MS and a small LED screen, very hard to see. Again, the digital Volcano has a much better screen, but twice the price.

We’ve modified the bag system to use a bite valve from a camelback water system so you don’t have to hold your finger over the end. That helps greatly on usability.
