First let me state the good things:-It has a reasonable heating time. -It's a very cheap forced air vaporizer -The bag system is nice. -The wide range of temps you can select allows you to find the 'perfect' vapor consistency. Now for the cons: -It's loud. -While the heating time is good once the device is at the appropriate temperature you're by no means done. -It takes a while for the bag to fill up. -The biggest con is when you're done with your first bowl. You then have to take out the metal bowl (which is very hot) and wait for it to cool down before you can start another bag. (Mind you with a second metal bowl this process isn't THAT bad) -Also it's recommended that you turn off the device when not in use (you have to stop to inhale the bag) which means you restart the entire process of setting up the temp, putting the bag at the end of tube and waiting for it to fill up. -Another big complaint is that the entire process of heating the herb and filling up the bag is not always contained which means this vaporizer creates considerable more smell than other counter parts (it still doesn't smell like smoke mind you) Conclusion: If you HAVE to have a 'forced air' vaporizer this is not a bad deal. It's cheap and similar in concept to a Volcano vaporizer. However in comparison to a hot box vaporizer this is FAR LESS convenient, is louder, and creates way more of a smell. |
