I thought it looked pretty discrete, square, smooth, little and black, kinda like an eletric pencil sharpener. It was heated up and ready to go when I got to it. The unit has no dial to it, I was told that it just heats up to 375, which is fine for me. This unit didn't have the dual chamber whip either, which made getting the blend in there a little tricky, but not a big deal. It did however produce a nice thick vapor which was nice. I like the Hot Box because it is very basic and did what it was suppposed to do.
