I had tried it before but the cost had hindered my purchase. I waited, saved up and I can't say how happy I am now that I have it in my hands. I had tried one over 5 years ago and I really remember liking it. I always felt that it had the look of a science project or something you would see in a lab. Don't let the looks fool you, this is much more than a science project it is the best. It has the purest way of causing the vapor. The heated lamp is so simple but very effective. There isn't any air, the isn't a ceramic heating element that, not that that is bad, but I just prefer the light heating my blend. I have an Extreme Q which I love and I wanted to upgrade to either a volcano or an aromed. I payed $450 total after shipping and was expecting to get my Vape 2 days later. The next day after they already took my money, I got an email (not a phone call) and was told they had it back ordered.......funny I was not told this when I ordered the product. They took my money and I had to call them to find out what was going on. I was then told I could expect to get my order in 2-3 weeks. Thats all I can say about this unit. To start, I own a Volcano, Extreme, Iolite, and No2, so I have had my fare share of expierance when it comes to vaporizing. This is one of, if not THE best unit out right now. I dont remebeber the first time I saw an Aromed, but I do recall thinking "Man I wonder how that thing works." I was a little hesitant on buying this unit at first just because of the great collection of Vapes I already have, but I was to intrigued with this unit. I live in NYC, and there are many smoke shops in the "Village" area of the city, so I headed that way to purchase this unit. After going in and out of about 7 shops, none of them even carried the Aromed! I was somewhat worried about this, because maybe there is a reason why these shops arent carriying the unit, but after reading some reviews on this site, I purchased one anyways. I had to look online to make my purchase, and GotVape had the best price like always. I ordered it, and it was waiting on my doorstep the next day! And I didnt even pay for any shipping, it was all free! After opening the box, I was estatic on the box the unit came in. I love how sleek it looks! I opened the box, and there it was, the German made Aromed! After turing the unit and and vaping, I am simply amazed. The heating element, which is a Halogen Bulb, is a genius idea. While all vapors produced my vapoirzers are clean and smooth, this just seemed so much more clean and more smooth. While this unit does not fill up a bag, its not to big of a deal. It is unique from any other vaporizer on the market. It has a halogen bulb heat source, high quality glass pieces, and filters through water. It produces the cleanest vapor around and it produces every time! It is a little tedious but the patience is well worth it. The halogen bulb connects into the glass herb camber that then connects to the water filtration system. The water filtration and the halogen heat source really make’s this unit unique.
