Volatizer VM3 Portable Vaporizer Overview
The Volatizer VM3 Portable Vaporizer is manufactured by Volatizer Inc. in the United States. This Vaporizer was introduced to the Vaporizer Market in 2008.
The Volatizer VM3 Vaporizer is direct inhalation vaporizer that uses inefficient interchangeable herb disks.
A low grade ceramic heating element is used to achieve the desired Vaporization level. This unit is equipped with a rechargeable battery that allows for a maximum of only 30 minutes of continuous heating.
Volatizer VM3 Portable Vaporizer Ease of Use
I used the included instructions to assemble the VM3 and try to start the Vaporization process with some difficulty.
I do feel that this unit might seem a bit overwhelming to users at first due to all of the parts and restrictions that accompany the VM3.
I turned on the Volatizer and adjusted the desired temperature to full power. The Volatizer VM3 Vaporizer cannot be turned on unless the mouthpiece is extended and the covering over the vaporization chamber should be completely closed, this should have been mentioned in greater detail.
The mouthpiece is extremely fragile, almost breaking during the testing process. I had to slide the vaporization compartment cover upwards to load the Volatizer Chamber. After this, I inserted the herb disc into the VM3 Vaporizer to begin Vaporizing.
Volatizer VM3 Vaporizer Heat up Time
The Volatizer Vaporizer has an average warm-up time of 10-15 minutes. I advise patrons to be aware that no vapor is produced if you try to use this unit too soon.
A cool down time of 30 minutes can be expected.
Volatizer VM3 Vaporizer Efficiency / Effectiveness
I tested the Volatizer with different volumes of blend in the herb chambers; a light, barely visible amount of vapor was produced with each draw.
I was not impressed with the Vapor quality that the VM3 provides there was an unnatural plastic taste with each draw.
Volatizer VM3 Vaporizer Warranty
Each Volatizer Vaporizer comes with a 90 day manufacturer’s warranty that is restricted to normal use.
However, I’m not confident that this warranty is valid due to poor contact information from the manufacturer.
Volatizer VM3 Vaporizer Overall Satisfaction
The Volatizer Portable Vaporizer is not worth the asking price of $449.
I would not recommend this unit to Vaporizer Patrons because the VMC is difficult to operate, the Vapor quality is average at best, and not to mention, the ion battery only offers 30 minutes of operation time.
There are other Portable units which are more manageable and affordable like the iolite, Vapolution, and Oxygen Mini.
