Atmos RAW Portable Vaporizer Overview
Designed by Atmos Technology LLC out of Florida, the Atmos Raw is one of the most compact and discreet Portable Vaporizers on the Market. The Atmos Raw is available in Black, Silver, and Blue, allowing each individual to pick their preferred color.
The Atmos' size is one of the most attractive features of this Vaporizer. It is incredibly easy to take anywhere due to the pen design concept, the Atmos Raw measures 5 "in Height and .75" in Diameter, I was able to keep this unit in my shirt pocket when I went for a coffee.
Atmos Raw Vaporizer Ease of Use
I was able to operate the Atmos Raw in a few simple steps. However, this unit does have a slight learning curve in terms of discovering the proper way to achieve an optimal vapor. There are only two ways to use the Atmos Raw, with or without the Vapor Screen inside the heating chamber.
Without the additional screen inside the heating chamber, I was disheartened because the unit produced more smoke than Vapor.
Once it was packed in I reconnected the mouthpiece, then held down the power button and started drawing.
I was definitely getting combustion, not vapor. It seems like I held the power button too long while pulling so I tried a different method. After a little practice of basically pressing and releasing the power button instead of holding it down I got to a more comfortable place with the vapor quality.
The smoke and/or vapor travels through a ceramic filter and mesh screen before ever reaching the mouthpiece, so this does add a layer of protection regardless of the smoke density.
I must recommend using the method with the Vapor Flavor Screen inserted into the heating chamber, here is the process that I used to get a nice draw.
The unit that I tested had an additional screen inside the heating chamber so that my blend would not fall directly onto the heating element. I moved the screen up and down inside the chamber in order to find the proper position to produce a visible Vapor instead of combustion.
First, I grinded my blend and removed the chamber connector from the ceramic heating chamber in a counter clockwise motion. I followed the instructions and let the Atmos Raw pre-heat for 9 seconds.
Next, I filled the ceramic heating chamber with my blend and screwed the chamber connector back onto the ceramic heating chamber in a clockwise motion. I must advise on not Over Packing the Atmos Raw because there needs to be some sort of airflow.
Finally, I activated the Atmos Raw by pressing the power button for two seconds then begin taking slow steady breaths. I was able to get between 5-6 quality Vapor draws per fill. Out of all the units that I have tested, the Atmos Raw takes the least amount of blend to produce a vapor, this was a major plus.
Atmos Raw Efficiency/Effectiveness
The Atmos Raw offers up to 72 hours of periodical Vaporization per full charge. I tested the Atmos Raw for three days without needing to re-charge the unit.
A 2 hour time period is needed for the Atmos Raw to completely charge.
The Atmos Raw runs on a rechargeable battery, so naturally included in the package there was a wall charger, but more interestingly there was also a USB charger as well. This opens up some possibilities that could make the Atmos Raw even more portable. Such as not having any open plugs at your work desk, now you can easily charge it from a USB outlet you may have on your computer there.
Atmos Raw Automatic Shut-OFF
Another feature accompanied with the Atmos Raw is the built-in automatic shut off safety setting after 9 seconds of continuous heat.
To reactivate the temperature, simply wait 3 seconds then press the Power Button down for a couple of seconds to repeat the Vaporization process.
Atmos Raw Warranty
The Atmos Raw features a 3 year replacement manufacturer's warranty, restricted to normal use.

With features such as a pen like design, a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery providing up to 72 hours periodical use, a quality ceramic heating element, and an ultra rapid 9 second heat up time, the Atmos Raw offers both portability and ease of use in one unit. At, $189.95, I would recommend this portable Vaporizer to those who are in search of a truly personal Vaporizer.
This unit is has the potential to be one of my favorite Vaporizers, so I contacted the Manufacturer and they reassured me that there will be upgrades in the near future to produce an even more efficient Vapor with no combustion. Since this unit is modular, patrons with the current version of the Atmos Raw will be able to upgrade their unit.
